This “Saturday Night Live” Alum is one of the few ladies that has managed to display a vast arsenal of multi-ethnic characters ranging from Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Lucy Liu and Beyonce, to Donatella Versace (my all time favorite!) and Diana Ross.  Additionally, Maya has employed a multitude of accents and some serious vocal chops that I’m sure her mother,  the late great Minne Ripperton would be proud of. Currently you can catch her on the NBC comedy “Up All Night” with Christina Applegate (one of my other comedy crushes) & Will Arnett.
