I adore this cookie recipe from my favorite cooking blog Smitten Kitchen. I made these cookies for a shindig earlier this year, and everyone fell in love with them. The salty-sweetness is indeed a heavenly win-win.
So why not try it with ice-cream? I cannot tell you how good these cookies are with some good ole’ vanilla ice cream. The original recipe gives you the option to finish with chocloate dip or crushed potato chips, so I figured I’d go all out and add BOTH crushed potato chips between the ice cream AND spread a layer of chocolate dip on both cookies. The result? Yes…and YES! Just try it. You won’t regret it.
